Someone who once shepherded the People of Tomorrow is now going to guide the Legends of Tomorrow.

As first reported on our @DCLegendsTV Twitter feed last night, Phil Klemmer has joined DC’s Legends of Tomorrow as an Executive Producer, and sources including TV Line are noting that Klemmer will be the showrunner for the series, which also boasts Arrow & Flash veterans Andrew Kreisberg, Marc Guggenheim, Greg Berlanti, and Sarah Schechter among the EP’s.

Klemmer’s got an impressive resume, including episodes of Veronica Mars and Chuck. More recently, he was a showrunner for The Tomorrow People (starring Robbie Amell, who had better show up on LoT at some time). Last season, he worked on ABC’s Forever, a cancellation that we’re still not over around here. No matter how you boil it, Klemmer seems to be a fantastic choice.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow is set to begin at midseason on The CW.
