Legends of Tomorrow Stays On Thursdays For Season 2 Legends of Tomorrow Stays On Thursdays For Season 2
The CW has announced that DC's Legends of Tomorrow is staying on Thursdays. Legends of Tomorrow Stays On Thursdays For Season 2

The CW announced their schedule for the 2016-2017 TV season today… and it appears that DC’s Legends of Tomorrow is keeping its time slot of Thursdays at 8PM for the Fall.

This is good news, meaning we won’t have to wait until midseason for the show’s return!

Legends is one of FOUR DC Universe shows from Greg Berlanti this Fall… Supergirl will air Mondays at 8; The Flash stays on Tuesdays at 8; Arrow covers Wednesdays at 8; and then, of course, Legends of Tomorrow.

Here’s how The CW describes Season 2. Clearly not too spoilery:

When heroes alone are not enough… the world needs legends. Time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) assembled a disparate group of both heroes and villains – including Firestorm (Victor Garber and Franz Drameh), Atom (Brandon Routh), White Canary (Caity Lotz), Hawkgirl (Ciarra Reneé), Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller), and Heatwave (Dominic Purcell) – to confront an unstoppable threat. After saving the world, the Legends of Tomorrow now are charged with protecting time — the past, present, and future — itself. This responsibility will take them across history, bringing them up against a threat unlike humanity has ever known. Based on the characters from DC, DC’S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW is from Bonanza Productions Inc. in association with Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television, with executive producers Greg Berlanti (“Arrow,” “The Flash,” “Supergirl”), Marc Guggenheim (“Arrow,” “Eli Stone,” “Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters”), Andrew Kreisberg (“Arrow,” “The Flash,” “Eli Stone,” “Warehouse 13”), Phil Klemmer (“The Tomorrow People,” “Chuck”), Chris Fedak (“Forever,” “Chuck”) and Sarah Schechter (“Arrow,” “The Flash”).
